How to send large files by email

It is always a problem to send large files to someone. Usually email services limit the size of email attachments. On average the limit is around 10 mega bytes. If you have to send a file larger than 10 megabytes you can use a service like Cast A File (http://www.castafile.com/)

This service allows you to send a file up to 150 megabytes, and is very easy to use.
Just enter the email address of your contact, choose the file to send, and enter your email address. It is also a good idea to write a little note to tell your contact what this file is about. Once you have completed the form you click the Send-File button. Your file will be uploaded and an email will be sent to your contact with a special URL to download the file.

IMPORTANT Depending on the size of your file, and the speed of your connection, it can take a long time to upload and send your file. It is important to not reload the page or click the back button of your browser. If you use a recent web browser your can open a new tab or a new window to continue your surfing. Be careful to not close or touch the Cast A File window during the upload. Your upload would be cancelled and the email won’t be sent.
