Do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?
The human brain is separated into two distinct cerebral hemispheres. The two sides of the brain are similar in appearance, and every structure in each hemisphere is mirrored on the other side. Despite these similarities, the functions of each cortical hemisphere are different.
Let’s have this little test to see which side of your brain you are using most.
- If you see the dancer turning clockwise, then the right side of the brain is a little bit more developed.
- If you see the dancer turning counter clockwise you are using a little bit more the left part of your brain.
For my part, I see the dancer turning clockwise. I have to concentrate hard to see her turning the other direction (counter clockwise). I have friends who can only see her turning in one direction. Other who can see her turning in both directions with no difficulties.

A pool on AOL News show that the majority of us see her rotating clockwise.
